Please join us on Wednesday 12th at 6 pm BST for a Virtual tour and Opening Event facilitated by Midpoint’s curatorial team. The event will consist of an informal walk-through of the exhibition and presentations by a selection of the Cohort 1922 artists.
Midpoint is an online exhibition of digitised works, developed throughout the Digital Curating Professional Practice Module led by curator Julia Greenway. The presentation addresses the current practices of digital art-making and exhibition building.
Taking its title from the artists’ current period of study, Midpoint details the multifaceted artistic process of UoN 2nd year Fine Art students. Through the fractured, deconstructed, and layered digital documentation of physical works, the online exhibition brings forward the systems of artistic experimentation across its diverse cohort.
Midpoint is a partnership between NN Contemporary Art led by guest curator Julia Greenway and UoN Fine Art Professional Practice Module leader Dr Andrew Hewitt.
