Continuing NN’s 2014 exploration of parallel worlds we turn to Eurovision, with its own definitions of Europe and where power ballads or turbo-folk rule. Teaming up with the Errol Flynn Filmhouse (EFF), NN presented a celebration of the artist music video from 9–11 May.

In line with Eurovision’s guidelines, artists from across the European Broadcasting Area using music and video have been invited to show their artworks at NN during the Eurovision finale weekend. The Broadcast Area defines the boundaries of the continent as spanning from Iceland to Georgia to Portugal and Israel. The artist music videos will be screened at NN during the Eurovision finale weekend.

To get you in the mood NN Café will be hosting a Culture Clash Quiz Eurotrash special on Friday 9 May 2014 from 10 pm. Live streaming of the Eurovision Song Contest Final will be at EFF on Saturday 10 May from 7 pm, followed by an after-party hosted at NN’s new Courtyard from 11 pm until late.
