Join Erica Scourti for a performative talk and Q&A about the affective experience and embodiment of public space.
About this event
The event will focus on the artist’s enquiry around our individual and collective experiences being mediated through different spaces, how virtual and actual spaces are realised through our bodies, and in relation to our emotions, memory and identities. Erica works across text, video and performance and the event will include a presentation of audio-visual material of the artist’s work.

About the Artist
Erica Scourti is an artist and writer, based in London and Athens. She has performed, exhibited and presented talks internationally, at High Line New York, Wellcome Collection, Kunsthalle Wien, Hayward Gallery, Munich Kunstverein, ICA London and EMST Athens, the 7th Athens Biennale: ECLIPSE and Survival Kit 13, Latvian Centre for Contemporary Art (2022). Her writing has been published in Spells (Ignota, 2018) and Fiction as Method (Sternberg, 2017) amongst others, and she guest-edited the Happy Hypocrite- Silver Bandage journal (2019). She is undertaking a PhD in Goldsmiths’ Art Department, and is a Lecturer in BA Fine Art at Central St Martins.
Access
The event will happen in NN’s temporary space at Vulcan Works.
Instructions on how to access the venue will be emailed to attendees. The venue is wheelchair accessible – please specify any access needs when booking your ticket. Registration is mandatory, no walk-ins possible.
